Kate Legge
Commercial & Technology
Special Counsel

I provide legal services to clients in a broad range of IP-intensive industries.

These industries combine commercial transactions such IP licences and assignments and services agreements (including contract development and manufacture), as well as research collaborations, IP due diligence, patent strategy, protection of confidential information, consumer law and privacy advice.

Before returning to private practice I was in-house counsel at a multinational pharmaceutical company focussing on patent strategy and litigation. Much of this work was in the generic industry and so I am comfortable straddling the divide between IP owners and challengers, playing devil’s advocate so as to benefit of my clients.

I love working closely with my clients to fully understand their business and commercial goals.
