REDI Impact Report: Improving Workforce Skills in Australia’s Medical Products Sector

When you combine our IP Education expertise with our passion and commitment to Australia’s life sciences industry, this is the result!

Back in late 2020, Wrays received a grant for the REDI program, an initiative of the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) and delivered by MTPConnect. Our challenge was to equip early-stage innovators with the necessary skills and resources to build their start-up, empowering them to navigate the complexities of commercialisation more effectively.

Since then, Wrays along with our consortium partners Yuuwa Capital, Biotech Recruitment Consultants and Perth Biodesign, have delivered targeted training programs to more than 300 life science industry participants at research institutes and conferences across Australia.

One component of the program that resonated particularly well was the case studies featuring real-world learned experiences, the good and the bad.

A huge thank you to Liddy McCall, James Williams, Todd Shand, Janet Preuss and Nicholas Buckley for their significant contributions to the team and outcomes.
